With the houselights dimmed and the ocean breeze in the air, the curtain rises on the deck of a luxury cruise liner bound for London — and the musical chaos is about to set sail. Anything Goes launches into motion as a mismatched collection of passengers — a lovesick stockbroker, a debutante with second thoughts, her uptight fiancé, a gangster in disguise, a saucy nightclub singer, and a dog named Cheeky — all get tangled in a wild voyage of mistaken identities, farcical schemes, and toe-tapping tunes. Add in tap-dancing sailors, a few unexpected confessions, and the unstoppable charm of Cole Porter’s classic songs, and you’ve got a shipshape evening of high-seas hilarity.
